No, this was an old documentary back in like the 80's. What happened (and happens) is that a certain tree in Africa only drops it's fruit when it has become fermented (aka alcoholic). Of course since this happens right next to a watering hole all the animals just LOVE to eat them. And this is what happens to them. They show the typical signs of being drunk. Look at the elephant REACHING for just one more drink, err fruit.
